Hi, these examples are very useful, thank you! I’m just confused in the family party seating example – why is the number of ways of ordering family A, then B, then A, etc. 4! and not 4x4x3x3x2x2x1x1?

  Oops you are right Amy. I mistake on my part, I wrote 4x4x3x3x2x2x1x1 and should have written $(4!)^2 \times 2$ . I’ll add a comment to the video also.
